Earmuff product video ad: SafeHouse HQ

About a 2-minute read

I created this earmuff product video ad for SafeHouse HQ. The commercial pairs outdoor scenes with people putting on the earmuffs and close views of the product.

The finished video runs for about 25 seconds. It shows both black and green earmuffs. Wider scenes show the people and setting, while the close views keep the ear cups and headband clear.

A model wears black SafeHouse HQ earmuffs outdoors beside a riding mower.

Details in this earmuff ad

The opening puts the product in a person's hand. The next views show people lifting the earmuffs onto their heads. That action gives the viewer a clear look at how the product is worn.

Close views then show the ear cups from the side. The black and green versions each get screen time. The edit returns to those product details between the wider outdoor scenes.

The photos in this post come from the same SafeHouse HQ shoot. They keep the earmuffs visible while showing the outdoor setting used for the project.

Plan the product views your video needs

If your product comes in more than one version, tell your video team which ones need to appear. Bring each version to the shoot and name the details you want people to see.

Choose a few clear actions for the video brief. For a wearable item, that might include holding it, putting it on, and showing it from the side. Pair those actions with close views of the parts a customer needs to recognize.
